Very professional. Love all of our images. Many of the guests have commented about how good the photographer was and that he made everybody feel at ease.
Laura & Ben Steele
Priory Cottages, Wetherby
Date of wedding : 16th June 2011
Jason was fantastic. He absolutely exceeded our expectations on the day. I have attended many weddings were the photographers have turned up scruffy, but Jason looked really smart so he blended in with the guests. He said to me to pretend he wasnt there and I really hardly ever knew he was. So much so I was worried we wouldnt have any pictures. I am not sure where you were hiding through the day
Our wedding planner told me Jason was so dedicated to getting a good picture that he knelt int the middle of Ripon road and stopped the traffic to get a picture of the car getting to the church. Thanks for everything, we were so pleased with the photos.
Amanda & Shaun Brown

We were very pleased with the photos, lots of natural shots as well as some formal ones of the key people. You were very unobtrusive on the day sp people didn’t notice you were taking pictures. Great value for money for the quality of photos. Thank you.

Great news I have just qualified as a Licentiate with the BIPP.
This was after submitting a panel of 20 prints from weddings I have done in the last 2 years and then having them assessed by a panel of 5 professional judges.
The institute is there to recognise the best photographers in the UK and give customers the assurance that photographers qualified with them are competent and qualified.
Take a look at their website:

Another Spring Wedding……..and will be a feature in the wedding guide in June -
Bride’s name: Jacqui Mawdsley (was Dunn)
Groom’s name: John Mawdsley
Wedding date: Friday 6th May 2011
Venue: Wentbridge House Hotel, Near Leeds, Yorkshire
How did they meet?
“We went to school together, but weren’t quite childhood sweethearts! We didn’t really get on at school, John was the class clown and I found him quite annoying! But after one year at York university for me and an adventurous gap year for John, we met up in our hometown for a drink and the rest is history!”
What was the proposal like?
In November 2009 we went on a trip of a lifetime holiday to New Zealands north island, it was a dream holiday for me and a chance for John to show me where he visited during his gap year. We stayed at the luxury hotel in the bay of islands where John had worked, we had a room overlooking the ocean & thats where John proposed…a complete surprise for me; when he asked if he could ask me question I thought he was going to ask what I wanted to do for dinner!
What was the weather like on the day of your wedding?
Lovely, it was fresh and warm. we didn’t get clear blue skies but it did stay lovely and bright all day & into the evening.
What was the ceremony time and where was it held?
The ceremony was at 1pm, in the leatham suite at Wentbridge house hotel
Where was the reception?
The reception was also at Wentbridge house hotel, but in the gorgeous crystal suite.
What was the main reason you picked the venue?
Because they only cater for one wedding a day, if there’s one day when you want to feel important and well looked after then your wedding day is it. The staff at wentbridge are brilliant, nothing was too much trouble and our master of ceremonies, Malcolm, was an absolute star, he’d pre-empted every request we asked him, meaning we were very relaxed all day.

What were the moments that you remember most?
Bride: The music starting for me to walk down the aisle (acoustic everlong by the foo fighters) thats when I felt nervous, but then
I walked down the aisle and saw John beaming at me which made me feel amazing.
Groom: Walking into our reception room as man and wife to the applause of family & friends, I even practised my royal wave to everybody!
Do you have any advice for future brides?
Do everything as far in advance as possible, then by the time the wedding week comes around there is nothing to worry about and you will have time to relax and treat yourself & your bridesmaids.
Where did you go on your honeymoon?
We went to Loch Lomond in Scotland immediately after the wedding, we are having our full honeymoon in November 2011 to New Zealand south island.
Nice to do some weddings abroad from time to time, but here are some non wedding pictures I recently took while I was not at the wedding.
